LAS VEGAS DOG PHOTOGRAPHY

Vegas may be known for gambling and nightlife, but once you leave the bright lights of the city you’ll find spectacular natural wonders in the rugged Nevada landscape.

Nicole Hrustyk joined pet photographers around the world celebrating their local dogs and raising funds for pets in need with the Tails of the World project. She raised $1000 for Pawtastic Friends in 2022, holding sessions at various stunning locations outside of Las Vegas.

Jesse, Potato and Gunner won the hearts of nearby students as the modelled on campus at the University of Las Vegas. Percy and Sriracha explored the wilderness of Mount Charleston and in Nevada’s Mojave Dessert, Bodhi and Koda were photographed in Red Rock Canyon.

Sweet old Lowretta trotted around the Aliante Nature Discovery Park, adventurous Aurora climbed the rocks at Floyd Lamb Park in Tule Springs and finally Fox watched the sun set beyond the horizon at Lake Mead.

Bodhi, is a photogenic boy who seemed to be a natural model and looked amazing in front of the red rocks.

Aurora Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs in Las Vegas, Nevada

Aurora is a 2 year old, Pomeranian Husky mix, with an adventurous personality, who is not afraid to let you know what she wants.

Sriracha Mount Charleston

Sriracha is a spunky red merle Australian Shepherd who is a natural in front of the camera. Her beautiful markings were ideal for this Mt. Charleston location.

Bodhi

Near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation, outside of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bodhi, is a photogenic boy who seemed to be a natural model and looked amazing in front of the red rocks.

Percy

Mount Charleston Wilderness area, within the Spring Mountains near Las Vegas, Nevada

Percy is a young boy with a sweet personality, who benefitted from the Pawtastic Friends training program, and integrated into his forever home seamlessly. With his deep coloring, he looks fantastic in the Mount Charleston Wilderness.

Sriracha

Mount Charleston

Sriracha is a spunky red merle Australian Shepherd who is a natural in front of the camera. Her beautiful markings were ideal for this Mt. Charleston location.

Jesse

University of Las Vegas, Nevada

Jesse survived living on the streets of Mazatlan, Mexico before finding her perfect home here in Las Vegas. You can see just how sweet she is when you look into her big round eyes.

Gunner

University of Las Vegas, Nevada

Gunner is a courageous paralyzed terrier/doxie mix, who loved to ride in a stroller, but was also super happy to sport wheels. 100% cuteness overload!

Lowretta

Aliante Nature Discovery Park in North Las Vegas

Lowretta is almost 15 years old, but you'd never know looking at her. She's as fit and active as a 5 year old. In her younger years, she enjoyed agility, field trials, barnhund, hunt tests, rally and EarthDog! She was also a therapy dog and spent time fishing. This little girl has done it all.

Koda

Near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation, outside of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Koda is a 5 year old long haired German Shepherd, who true to his GSD heritage had the best head tilts and looked absolutely gorgeous in front of the red canyons.

Aurora

Aurora is a 2 year old, Pomeranian Husky mix, with an adventurous personality, who is not afraid to let you know what she wants.

Potato

University of Las Vegas, Nevada

Potato is an English Bulldog who is beyond adorable, and will definitely melt the heart of anyone she meets. During our session, she convinced everyone she saw to stop and visit with her.

Fox

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Fox is a fun goofy boy who loves to dive in the water after his toy and gets some serious air. The silhouette was taken at the end of our session.
