Ute Valley Park is one of many amazing hiking areas in Colorado Springs, with amazing views of the mountains and plenty of forested areas that are perfect for exploring with your four legged friends.
CJ Ashmore of Pawfect Photo Moments loves photographing pets in action, so living in Colorado provides the perfect, epic backdrops for his dog portraits. In April 2022, CJ joined pet photographers around the globe for the Tails of the World project, helping to raise over $20,000 for pets in need. He photographed Frost and Lou, two beautiful Bernese Mountain Dogs in Ute Valley Park and raised funds for Wild Blue Cats charity.

Ute Valley Park is one of many amazing hiking areas in Colorado Springs that includes amazing views of the mountains and a lot of forest areas. Lou is a Bernese Mountain Dog and a show dog. The larger cousin of Frost, the other Bernese photographed, he is very playful and loves running around, playing fetch, and frolicking through the grass!
The concept of the photoshoot was to showcase the beautiful landscapes and scenery of Colorado, including much of the forest area, mountain landscapes, and water features.

Frost is a Bernese Mountain Dog, the cousin of Lou, the other Bernese mountain dog that was photographed. Both are show dogs. Frost has a fun, outgoing personality and loves meeting other dogs!
